Meet our new friend....

This is our new pet! Its Ava's penguin. She has been sick for about 5 days now and we took her into the Dr again today and she has RSV and a right ear infection. No wonder she has felt horrible this last week. Hopefully the medicine and the breathing treatments will help. She hates doing the breathing treatments and its a fight unless she is asleep then its simple!!! We have to do breathing treatments every 4 hours so its pretty draining fighting her to do them.

The Nebulizers for babies are cute now a days!! I remember my Grandpa use to have to have a nebulizer and his was boring... maybe if they gave animals to adults it would be better!!

Here is the first one at home we had to give her. Luckily they make a pacifier attachment so if she is sleeping we just switch pacifiers and she never knows any different. (Robby is pretending to sleep... don't let him fool you!!)

She hasn't really slept for about 4 days now.. Whenever she falls asleep she starts coughing really bad and will wake herself up. She looks so peaceful here! (notice Robby 'sleeping' still?!)




These next few pictures were on my camera and I just wanted to post them. I love them because this is how she normally is. Happy and full of life.... I can't wait for her to get better!!

I'm really trying to get better at taking more pictures!! I really need to be documenting Ava because she is growing up so fast!!

Look at the curls!! She is finally getting hair and its so curly!! Still not long enough to do anything with it but when she gets out of the bath it is so fun to play with!!

She loves to play with cell phones!!! We are starting her a little young!!

She has about 4 teeth on top and 4 teeth on bottom. She has a few more coming in right now on top so we are finally getting those teeth in!!

Whenever you pull out the camera and tell her to "say cheese" this is the face you get!!!

She is getting so big!! She is 14 months old today!! She is such a smart baby!! She is walking everywhere, says a few words, but her newest talent is a high five or knuckles!! She is also into waving at EVERYONE!! She has to make sure everyone waves before we leave a room!!

How to sit in a Bumbo Chair

I used the Bumbo chair some when she was younger.... Who would of thought she would love playing in it now!! If I pull out the bumbo chair now she will play with it for so long! She loves climbing in and out and trying to figure out how to sit in it!! So I grabbed my camera and sat on the couch and took pictures of her trying to get in and out of it!!





This little girl looks so much like my baby pictures!!! Its so crazy!! She is working on getting some more teeth and hasn't been feeling good so we've spent alot of time at home playing.

She did it!!!

Ava woke up this morning and decided that today was the day she is going to walk. No more crawling for her. And she did just that. We went to church like usual today and lately we have been trying to go about 30 minutes early so we can walk around and hold on to Ava's hands and let her walk around as well. Well she was holding onto my fingers and all of a sudden she let go and took off. She didn't even turn back. She probably took a good 20 steps before she fell and she got right back up and kept going. She's been doing it all day and doesn't even get to her knees too much any more!! She is a pro!!
This isn't a very good video because it was on Robby's phone but you get the idea!! And I FINALLY found my camera charger so its charging up so we can get some more videos and pictures!!

Here is some videos we took last night... I haven't been able to catch her walking by herself on video yet but I will when she starts doing it more. She is still just getting comfortable with standing and moving her legs.

Groundhogs day

5 years ago from this very day I had a brain tumor removed! Its so crazy to think that 5 years have gone by. Luckily it was benign and has yet to come back. I've had to have an MRI every year for 4 out of the last 5 years (my last one I had done was on Friday so we are still waiting for those results) and so far everything has come back great!! Keep your fingers crossed that this last MRI will have a clean result too!! I can't believe that its already been 5 years! When things like that happen it makes you take a reality check and see whats important in your life. I've been thinking alot about that day 5 years ago and how much my life has changed since then. I am so inlove with the man of my dreams and we have the most beautiful baby girl in the world. I don't ever want to take another second for granted and that was how I felt 5 years ago. I love watching my baby girl grow up and don't want to miss any of it. I don't know what i'd do if I wasn't able to take care of her every day.

Sorry for the rambling. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there... it might not even make sense... Any ways..
