Catch up.......

Ok, so i've been a slacker at blogging! I'm going to be better! Here are some pictures off of my phone since I've misplaced my camera. They aren't the best quality but its an idea of what we've been up to. 

Allie is growing up so fast and I can't believe she is almost 8 months old! She is such a happy baby and adds so much to our little family.

Here she is in her swing with her new blanket her great Aunt Jan sent her. I love this blanket because she can breathe throw it and if you've ever seen her sleep you know she likes to cover her face up.

A few weeks ago, Rick (Robbys dad) rented a cabin and we all went and stayed the weekend up in the mountains (or what they call mountains out here). It was so nice to get a way and I can't wait to really start camping this summer! We plan on taking the tent out quite a few times this year! 

We've been enjoying many walks and need to invest in a double stroller. Ava has decided that she doesn't like to walk anymore and wants to ride in the stroller....

We've been able to enjoy quite a few days out on the swing set! Our next door neighbors gave us a really nice wooden swing set that has a fort on top and Ava loves it! We love having a playground in our back yard! 

Allie eating some green beans and they were all over her face. She defiantly isn't a picky eater! She hasn't turned anything down yet. She loves carrots, squash, green beans, prunes and bananas.

Ava is such a smart little girl. She can right her name and most of her letters lowercase and uppercase. She is good at all the sounds each letter makes as well. We took Grandma Sharon some lunch one day at her school and she loved practicing all her letters on the white board.

We've spent far too many hours in my closet already this year. We've been under some pretty ugly weather already and hope we don't get too much more. The girls don't seem to mind and if the weather radio goes off Ava runs as fast as she can to the closet. Its pretty funny.

And the new additions to our family! Ava named them Minnie Mouse, Donald and Quack. She loves them. They are going to be her responsibility and she will be in charge of feeding them and making sure they have water. When they are old enough we will release them in the HUGE pond behind our house.

Robby built them a pretty nice pen. They have an in ground pond/swimming hole and a pretty good sized space to run around.

This is about as close as Ava will get to them right now. I think the more she takes care of them the more she will feel comfortable with them.
